My suppliers say they don't need a
co-ordinator, or they have their own, so why do I need you?
Suppliers usually are good at their own job but our service brings together
and co-ordinate ALL your suppliers, working for YOU - not for the suppliers, to
make sure your Special Day runs smoothly. we can do this because we are independent co-ordinators, not in the employ of any of your suppliers. So you
have one stage-manager making sure everything happens on-queue - giving you the
freedom to relax and enjoy your wedding.
What is your experience level?
Many years of managing, organising and planning - within education and
business mainly, coupled with having organised my own and family weddings. This
is a new business - but utilising established skills, professional training and
an eye for
detail. Our colleagues and associates are also hand-picked for their skills and
experience.
Have you had any training relating to wedding planning and coordination?
Yes, Bob has been trained by the Association of Certified Professional
Wedding Consultants (ACPWC)
How do you charge for your services?
Each wedding is unique and our fees are dependent on the time we need to spend.
We will prepare a quotation for you, according to your specific requirements. We also have an hourly rate for any work that doesn't fit into
a package but we will talk to you about that before we carry out any extras.
Do you receive commissions or referral fees from vendors?
NO, we NEVER accept payments from vendors because we want to be free and
unbiased in our recommendations to you.
What is your procedure on the day of the wedding?
Having drawn up the time-line, checked the vendors and attended your
rehearsal, we will spend up to eight hours with you on the day so we can be
there to support you at the start of the day, be at the ceremony and make sure
the reception goes as planned - right through to the clearing away.
What is the procedure for a replacement
for the consultant should you not be able to perform?
We work as a partnership so you will have one of us there to
support you, knowing your wedding plan and time-line, regardless of what
happens.
How many weddings do you do per day?
Never more than one as we want to give you our undivided attention.
What is your record keeping system?
Records are computerised but also printed out. We will keep you up-to-date
with all vendor communications and progress. Our forms, records and checklists are in
place to make sure nothing gets overlooked..
What other services can you offer?
We can organise your Anniversary or Birthday Party, Christenings and Naming
Ceremonies, Reunions, Conferences and Training Events. In addition, we offer administrative skills and website design. We also provide training
courses and themed short holidays - but we won't be doing any of those when we
are co-ordinating your wedding because that needs our undivided attention.
How will the wedding coordinator be dressed for your wedding?
Formally and business-like, to match the style of your wedding but in such a
way that we can remain unobtrusive.
